5 Things Simplifying My Life Right Now (Vol. 1)
When life feels like a lot, I find it helpful to focus on the small things that are working rather than everything that isn’t. So I started paying attention to the little things making my days easier, and before I knew it, I had a list. (That list eventually turned into a series—browse all of the installments here!)

Here are five things simplifying my life right now:
1. Using things up 🧴
With an international move just six weeks away, I’m on a serious mission to use up as many products and pantry staples as possible. (I’m actually making two batches of granola right now because I have more shredded coconut than any one person should have.) There’s something weirdly satisfying about finishing something and tossing the empty container into the recycling bin!
The fewer things I have to declutter, pack, and decide about in the final weeks, the better.
Here’s exactly what to declutter before a move if you’re relocating soon, too!
2. Beauty spatulas 💄
Speaking of using things up, these silicone beauty spatulas are perfect for scraping the last bits of product out of bottles and jars, especially the expensive stuff you don’t want to waste. Highly recommend.
3. Grocery delivery 🛒
Between soccer games, gatherings, packing, and everything else going on, outsourcing our grocery shopping has been immensely helpful these last few weekends. It’s been really nice to let someone else handle the shopping, bagging, and unloading. Now if only I could outsource the fridge cleaning and putting away!
4. Repeating workouts 💪
I usually like having some variety in my workouts, but lately I’ve been rotating the same two or three strength workouts each week. They’re short, effective, and I don’t waste time debating or doing workouts I don’t enjoy.
5. A local moms’ marketplace group 📦
As we’ve been packing and decluttering, I’ve been listing things to donate in a local moms’ marketplace group. It’s saved me numerous donation drop-offs and has also been really nice to connect with local families who can use what we no longer need.
